Friday, March 24th
Remarks:
Description: Camping a Pouch with new scouts!
Expect a hike to explore the camp, fire building, cooking.
No fees but you will need to plan, purchased and cook your meals as a patrol.
Tentative Activities List
+ Morning Exploratory/Nature Hike, 5 miles, led by Second Class candidates (Tenderfoot scouts working on advancement)
+ Cooking. You cook, you eat. You don't cook, you don't eat. Simple. Tenderfoot requirements 2a/b/c
+ Fire Making Practice
+ Second Class Navigational Skills, weather permitting.
+ First Class Orienteering Course
Scouts may stay in the lean-to or in a tent. Some of the lean-tos will need work on Saturday, so if you're in one of those, you may need to move.
Patrols need to plan for 2-breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinners. Friday night should be a packaged cold meal or eat before you come.
