“Pho” Ramen

Description: 

A better, beefed up version of Ramen!

Preparation time: 
5 minutes
Ingredients: 
1 T Oil
1⁄2 Red Onion (One large and one small)
1⁄4 c Sliced Beef Jerky
1 Enough water that the package of Ramen says
1 Package of Beef flavored Ramen
1 Handful of Spinach
1 Juice of half a Lime (Or 1 Tablespoon of bottled juice )
Cooking time: 
5 minutes
Instructions: 

1) Put your pot over the burner on medium, and add the oil.
2) When the oil in the pot is hot (you can add a test piece of onion to check it out), add the large portion of your sliced onions. Stir for a minute, letting them caramelize. Add the beef jerky and cook for 2-4 minutes on high/medium high. (Depends on how hot the burner is)
3) Add enough water to the pot to meet your soup preferences, and bring to a boil. Add in the ramen seasoning packet, ramen noodles, and vegetables and cook per package instructions.
4) When the noodles are cooked through, sprinkle the raw onion over the top, squeeze in the lime juice, and serve!
